Training Programs
(I train you to train your dog)
Tier 1: Foundation Skills
Who this is for
Stable dogs who need clearer communication, better manners, and reliable on-leash obedience.
What this program focuses on
This program builds clarity and consistency in everyday life. We focus on leash walking, basic obedience, and curbing common unwanted behaviors so handling your dog feels easier and more predictable.
Just as important, this program teaches you how to work with your dog so progress continues outside of sessions.
What this program is not
Not designed for off-leash reliability
Not behavior rehabilitation
Not results without owner follow-through
The goal
A well-mannered, easy-to-live-with dog on leash and in daily routines.
Training Programs Built for Real Life
Choosing the right training program matters. Not every dog needs the same approach, and the best results come from starting in the right place.
I offer structured training programs designed to meet dogs where they are — from foundation skills and off-leash reliability to reactivity rehabilitation and immersive Board & Train options.
Start With a Free First Session
Every client begins with an initial session at no cost. This session allows us to make sure we’re a good fit and gives me the opportunity to evaluate your dog before recommending a program.
Program placement is based on safety, long-term success, and realistic expectations — not preference or price.
Tier 2: Off-Leash Reliability
Who this is for
Stable dogs who already have a foundation and are ready to earn reliable off-leash freedom.
What this program focuses on
This program builds recall, distance control, and obedience that holds up outside of controlled environments. We move beyond commands working “at home” and focus on reliability around distractions.
Off-leash work is introduced thoughtfully and responsibly, with an emphasis on standards, consistency, and real-world application.
What’s included
E-Collar and Long Line
Dog Dojo Membership included for 2 months at no additional cost
What this program is not
Not universal freedom in every environment
Not behavior rehabilitation
Not results without ongoing consistency
The goal
Off-leash reliability built through structure, not shortcuts.
Tier 3: Reactivity Rehabilitation
Who this is for
Dogs who struggle with reactivity, impulse control, or emotional regulation around people, dogs, or environments.
What this program focuses on
This program addresses the underlying patterns driving reactive behavior. We focus on clarity, boundaries, and regulation so the dog can move through the world in a calmer, more predictable way.
The goal isn’t perfection or sociability — it’s stability and control in real environments.
What’s included
E-Collar and Long Line
Dog Dojo Membership included for 3 months at no additional cost
What this program is not
Not a guarantee of zero reactivity forever
Not a quick fix
Not results without structure and upkeep
The goal
A calm, well-behaved, normal dog in the environment.
Board and Train
(I train your dog first)
Who this is for
Dogs who need more structure or faster progress than weekly sessions can realistically provide.
What this program focuses on
Board & Train is an immersive option where your dog lives with me 24/7 with my dog and family. Skills and behavior are installed first, then transitioned back home through owner follow-up sessions.
This option is often appropriate for more complex behavior cases or when consistency at home is difficult during the initial training phase.
What’s included
Full-time structured training
Follow-up sessions focused on owner handoff
Unlimited Dog Dojo Membership included
(sign-up required)
Timeframe
Most Board & Train programs fall in the 4–8 week range, depending on the dog and goals.
Placement and length are determined during the free first session.
The goal
Accelerated progress first — then sustainable ownership.
Dog Dojo Membership
(Group class membership at my training studio)
The Dog Dojo is an ongoing training environment designed to support consistency, proofing, and long-term success.
These are bite-sized, trainer-led group sessions held at the Dog Dojo or nearby parks, focused on practicing skills in real-world settings.
The Dog Dojo is often used:
To reinforce skills learned in training programs
To practice around distractions in a structured way
To maintain reliability over time
Dog Dojo access is included at no additional cost with select training programs and is also available as a standalone membership.
Participation is subject to trainer approval to ensure safety and appropriate group dynamics.

Board and Train
Board & Train is an immersive training option for dogs who need more structure or faster progress than weekly training can realistically provide.
During this program, your dog lives in my home with me, trained and handled as if they were my own. This allows training to happen in a real-life environment rather than a kennel setting, with structure built into daily routines, transitions, and downtime.
Skills and behavior are installed first, then transitioned back to you through follow-up sessions so the training holds up at home and in real-world situations.
This option is commonly recommended for:
Dogs with more complex behavior challenges
Dogs struggling to make progress with weekly training
Situations where early consistency is difficult to establish
Board & Train is not a shortcut, and not every dog is a good fit. Placement is determined during the free first session.
Program Length & Investment
$1,000 per week
Minimum of 4 weeks
Typical timelines:
Stable dogs: usually 4 weeks
Behavior cases: typically 4–8 weeks, depending on the dog and goals
Final length is determined during the evaluation.
Each Board & Train includes:
Daily structured training in a real home environment with weekly updates
5–10 owner follow-up sessions (in-home or agreed location)
Transition planning for life after training
Unlimited Dog Dojo Membership after the program
What this program does — and does not — promise
What it does:
Brings the dog to a clear off-leash standard
Establishes structure, clarity, and accountability
Teaches owners how to maintain and uphold the training
What it does not:
Guarantee perfection without owner follow-through
Replace consistency after the dog returns home
Eliminate the need for ongoing practice
Payment & Scheduling
50% deposit required to reserve a Board & Train slot
Remaining balance due upon return of the dog
Start dates are limited and scheduled in advance
The goal
Accelerated progress first — then sustainable ownership.
