Let me introduce myself

My name is Spencer. I first got into dog training after we adopted our dog, Mochi, and quickly realized he needed some guidance. His biggest challenge was reactivity, and learning how to help him work through that completely changed the way I saw dogs and training.

Now that we’ve come out the other side of his reactivity journey, my passion is helping other owners overcome behavioral challenges so they can enjoy a calm, confident, and conflict-free relationship with their dogs.

I’m currently completing the Training Without Conflict (TWC) course taught by Ivan Balabanov — a two-time World Champion and fifteen-time National Champion in the dog sport IGP.

Dog Training Should Be Fun!

Dogs learn through wins, which vary for each dog. It might be a tasty treat after a good recall for a hungry retriever. For an eager terrier, it could be a perfect 'sit' rewarded by their favorite tug toy. It could be mom's praise after a successful vet visit for a scared shepherd.

To see your dog feeling accomplished, confident, and joyful never gets old

Combining these positive experiences with clear communication and expectations sets the foundation for a strong dog-owner relationship. At this stage, many everyday issues have dissipated and we can tackle any persistent concerns.
